Rare Samsonite travel suitcase, Style No. 4921, manufactured by Shwayder Bros., Inc., Denver, Colorado, USA, circa 1940s. Dimensions: approximately 53 × 36 x 20 cm. Original brown finish with brass hardware and original textile interior. The suitcase is in exceptional original condition, showing only minor signs of age and use. All fittings are present and functional. The original key is missing, otherwise the suitcase remains remarkably complete. Examples in this state of preservation are becoming increasingly difficult to find, making this an excellent collector’s piece as well as a decorative object. Only the original key is missing.***
